FaceBook Page Message options

Recently lot of small business owners are accepting Facebook Page as a way to get orders online. Since Facebook and Whatsapp are popular platforms across all the age groups, more and more people are accepting it as an easy way to do business communication as well. As this is getting popular Facebook Page option are getting better frequently.

Lot of us are not really aware of how advanced the Facebook page message options are. Though many of us do a lot of posting on the page, often we ignore the 'Inbox'.

Let us get to know what are all the means to receive messages to the inbox and options to manage these messages.

The Inbox


When you click on the inbox, you will be taken to the main message dashboard. All the messages received via various means like Facebook Messenger, Comment Section, Facebook direct messages posted via page, Instagram can be managed here. The 'Messages' sections has all the messages received from various platforms. Apart from that we also have options to manage them separately under individual section.







When I click on any of the messages received via one of these options, I am provided with the option to manage each message, like I'm dealing with a task.

Payment Request through message:

Say I get a orde through my page in my inbox, I have an option to ask for making the payment right there.



Other that this, If I feel I need to do something from my end before I respond to the message I can add the message to the 'FollowUp' section to respond later.


This message can later be accessed in the 'FollowUp' section and be managed separately.

'Mark As Done': This option lets us to move the message to the finished task section once the task mentioned in the message is performed.


Apart from these we can also mark them as unread, mark it as spam or just delete it like we do in any other Email platform and at the same time we have options like 'reply with smileys, attachments, Like button, or to respond with a saved message like in any Messenger platform.

Customising the saved message:

Depending on the purpose of the page, we can add various options to the automated response. We can ask for a feedback enabling 'Page Recommended' or 'Page Not Recommended' buttons.
